We saw the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity award winners for advertising at the Winnipeg Art Gallery on Wednesday. There were some excellent films on the program. The three that really tugged at my heart strings were about the parent child relationship.
In Closer a young girl and her father try to reconnect after her mother’s death.
Another film about a father daughter relationship I Love You Very Much was so touching.
And finally Pick Them Back Up about mothers and Olympic athletes had me in tears.
