Stalking, Lunch and No Guns

no guns kansas city museum of artI loved all the interesting artwork at the Kansas City Museum of Art but other things were interesting too like this sign by the front door. Don’t see that in Canada too often.

art gallery guides in trainingI also spent a fair bit of time stalking a group of volunteers who were being trained to be guides at the gallery.  They were going around together and taking turns providing information and initiating discussions about paintings and receiving feedback from a trainer.  Since I work at an art gallery and sometimes help to train new guides it was interesting to observe how another gallery goes about the process.
