I loved all the interesting artwork at the Kansas City Museum of Art but other things were interesting too like this sign by the front door. Don’t see that in Canada too often.
I also spent a fair bit of time stalking a group of volunteers who were being trained to be guides at the gallery. They were going around together and taking turns providing information and initiating discussions about paintings and receiving feedback from a trainer. Since I work at an art gallery and sometimes help to train new guides it was interesting to observe how another gallery goes about the process.
Our lunch in the sunny, treed atrium with a fountain and food offerings of infinite variety was delicious and fun and a perfect end to our visit.
